Cow & Sheep, Ireland

While the Irish beverages are Guinness and Jameson's, the Irish animals are cows and sheep. You can't go any where without seeing one or the other. The sheep come in the shaved or dreadlocks category and often have big splotches of purple or pink paint on their backside (I assume to distinguish ownership). Many times they were wandering on the side of the road and would completely freak me out when I would drive around a bend and see them munching away completely ignorant of my on coming car. An accident waiting to happen. Whacky. The cows, they are a grass fed variety. There's plenty of the green stuff for them here. No subsidized corn required.
